Flat white

Flat white is an espresso-based drink where an espresso is cover with a thin layer of foamed milk. Rightfully to its name, this drink should be very flat.

Flat white originally comes from Australia. In preparation of a flat white lightly foamed milk is poured over a double espresso. Flat white has less milk comparing to cappuccino providing stronger coffee flavor to the drink.

Flat white is normally served from a drinking glass or a porcelain cup smaller to cappuccino cup. For baristas, making latte art on top of flat whites is easier due to the light milk foam. Flat white is truly a great drink that can bring variation for the friends of cappuccinos and lattes.
